Financial Clarity, Rooted in Real Life

When I was an infant, my father passed away unexpectedly. He left no life insurance, no savings—just a grieving wife and a newborn son. My mother raised me in public housing while working full-time as an administrative assistant. Her strength shaped me.

Why I Do This Work

I’m Jeff Panik, Managing Director of Balance Wealth Partners. I’ve worked in financial services for over 25 years and hold a Master of Science in Financial Planning. I'm also a Certified Financial Planner™—but my passion for this work started long before the credentials.

When I was an infant, my father passed away unexpectedly. He left no life insurance, no savings—just a grieving wife and a newborn son. My mother raised me in public housing while working full-time as an administrative assistant. Her strength shaped me. Her struggle showed me just how critical financial planning is—not just for wealth, but for peace of mind.

That experience never left me.

I became the first in my family to attend college. But with no savings and no roadmap, I had to figure it all out on my own. Just months before graduation, Sallie Mae sent me a bill I wasn’t prepared for—$1,000 a month for 10 years. With a psychology degree and no clear career path, I needed a way forward.

“The Army gave me discipline, clarity, and purpose.” - Jeff Panik

From Uncertainty to Purpose

That’s when I joined the Army. They offered to forgive my student loans in exchange for service—and that decision changed my life. I served with people from every walk of life, traveled the world, and learned what it truly means to lead, adapt, and persevere. The Army gave me discipline, clarity, and purpose.

Financial planning became a natural extension of everything I’d lived. It’s not about spreadsheets. It’s about helping real people solve real problems—just like the ones I grew up with.

What I Do Today

At Balance Wealth Partners, I help individuals and families gain financial clarity, take control of their wealth, and build a legacy that lasts. Whether you’re just starting out or preparing for retirement, I work with you to design a personalized, step-by-step plan aligned with your values, goals, and life vision.

I’ve also authored two books—one for young adults building their financial foundation, and another for those preparing to retire with purpose and confidence. Both are practical, story-driven, and built to help you avoid the costly mistakes I’ve seen far too many people make.
